Sumiko Talisman S

The Sumiko Talisman S is a high end low output MC cartridge. Its 0.26 mV output calls for a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The Fine Line stylus tracks between 1.5 and 2.5 g with 2.0 g quoted as nominal. The stylus is built into the body, so a worn diamond goes out for retipping.

A sapphire cantilever tube and Fine Line stylus give the Sumiko Talisman S an incisive, highly resolving character. Tight groove control keeps images stable and layered, bass stays taut, and vocals sound natural rather than forward. Lively dynamics favor acoustic, jazz and classical playback on revealing systems, while worn or noisy pressings get less mercy here. The stylus is integrated, so only a retip cures wear.

Sumiko Talisman S (MC, вес 6.3 г, кантилевер — сапфировая трубка, динамическая податливость 15×10⁻⁶ см/дин) — оптимален для лёгкого тонарма: резонансные примеры (8–18 г эффективной массы) стабильно попадают в 8–11 Гц, то есть безопасную зону.

Фонокорректор нужен MC-вход с усилением 61–66 дБ и входным сопротивлением 40–100 Ом — так раскрывается низкий выходной сигнал 0.26 мВ без шумов и с полным частотным балансом.
