Stanton 6691EE
The Stanton 6691EE sits in the mid range and uses an MI generator. Its 3.5 mV output suits any standard MM phono input. The elliptical stylus rides the groove at a light 0.75 to 1.5 g. The replaceable stylus is the D680, and Phono Culture lists 3 compatible replacement styli.
The Stanton 6691EE is a private-label member of the 680 family, sharing stylus compatibility across the 680/681 line including D6800EEE upgrades. Its elliptical tip gives a forgiving, easygoing top end with natural vocal warmth and steady, controlled bass, right for rock, soul and casual DJ sets where ease of listening matters most. The stylus is replaceable, so tip wear never retires the whole cartridge.
