The Shure V-15 Type III leans toward a forgiving, easygoing presentation rather than an analytical one. Well-worn or noisy pressings stay listenable, and vocals come through with natural, unforced warmth, while detail, imaging and dynamics hold a coherent, believable balance without spotlighting any single element. The elliptical stylus is replaceable, so refreshing it is straightforward. It rewards jazz, rock and vocal records on modestly set-up systems.

Shure V-15 Type III (ММ, вес 6 г, комплаянс высокий) оптимален с лёгкими тонармами — их эффективная масса даёт частоту резонанса около 7.8 Гц (приемлемо), тогда как средние и тяжёлые тонармы уводят резонанс в опасную зону 5.9–6.8 Гц.

Фонокорректор — стандартный ММ-вход 47 кОм, ёмкость нагрузки лучше выбирать высокую (ближе к 400–500 пФ), усиление — 39–42 дБ. Прижимную силу и заточку иглы уточняйте по паспорту иглы.
