Pickering 150DJ
The Pickering 150DJ was built for DJ duty with heavy and confident tracking. The IM generator delivers 3 mV into any standard MM phono input. Its conical stylus holds the groove at 2.0 to 4.0 g. The replaceable stylus is the D-150DJ, and Phono Culture lists one compatible replacement.
The Pickering 150DJ is a forgiving DJ workhorse built on the XV-15 platform. Its spherical tip trades ultimate resolution for robust, non-fussy tracking through scratches, warps and heavy handling, keeping vocals natural and bass present without tightness. Loose imaging bothers nobody at a beat-matching booth, and durability comes first. The D-150DJ stylus is replaceable, so hard use stays cheap.
