Ortofon 2M Blue
The Ortofon 2M Blue works as a mid-range MM cartridge built around an elliptical stylus profile. Its output of 5.5 mV suits any standard MM phono input without extra gain stages. Tracking force is rated between 1.6 and 2.0 g with a nominal setting of 1.8 g. The replaceable Stylus 2M Blue fits it, and Phono Culture lists 4 compatible replacement styli.

The Ortofon 2M Blue pairs an aluminum cantilever with an elliptical stylus for natural, engaging vocals, solid imaging and lively dynamics that never turn harsh or fatiguing. Bass feels reasonably dense rather than lean, and the easygoing presentation stays kind to less-than-perfect pressings. Long relaxed sessions across rock, jazz and vocal genres are where it feels at home. The stylus is replaceable, which makes later upkeep painless.

Ortofon 2M Blue (ММ) с алюминиевым кантилевером и податливостью ~20 µm/mN хорошо сочетается с лёгкими тонармами — резонансная частота остаётся в оптимальной зоне (8–9 Гц при массе 8–12 г). Для фонокорректора нужна ёмкость 150–300 пФ и усиление 35–38 дБ (ММ-вход). Прижимная сила и заточка иглы — по паспорту производителя.
