Nagaoka MP 500
The Nagaoka MP 500 sits at the top of the long running MP family and targets careful audiophile listening. It uses an MM generator whose 3 mV output matches any standard MM phono input without extra gain. The Super Analogue Stylus profile digs into fine detail and inner dynamics of a record. Tracking force runs from 1.3 to 1.8 g with a 1.6 g nominal setting, and the stylus assembly JN-P500 can be replaced.

Additional Info
The Nagaoka MP 500 leans forgiving and naturally smooth. Vocals sound relaxed and full-bodied, treble comes silky rather than etched, and the Super Analogue Stylus tip pulls out fine detail without turning clinical. The stage stays wide and stable with firm, controlled bass underneath. Jazz, acoustic and vocal records reward it best, as do brighter systems craving warmth.
