Grado Prestige Black
The Grado Prestige Black uses a moving iron MI generator paired with an elliptical stylus profile. Its 5 mV output feeds any standard MM phono input without extra gain. Rated tracking force runs from 1.0 to 2.0 grams with 1.5 grams as the nominal setting. The Prestige Black Stylus is user replaceable, and Phono Culture lists 1 compatible replacement stylus.
three-piece OTL cantilever (diamond mounted on brass bushing)
Additional Info
The Grado Prestige Black favors a warm, forgiving midrange with natural vocal presence and easy, flowing dynamics that stay smooth even on average pressings. Its elliptical tip and 3-piece OTL cantilever with a diamond on a brass sleeve trade surgical precision for relaxed musical ease. That character rewards jazz, rock, and systems that already lean bright. The stylus is replaceable when worn.
