Grado G Tan
The Grado G Tan uses the American workshop's MI generator at the entry level. Its 3 mV output feeds any standard MM phono input. The elliptical cut sits on a replaceable stylus listed as the G1+/S. The full rated tracking force range has not survived in period sources.

Additional Info
The Grado G Tan is a vintage moving-iron with an elliptical grind and a forgiving, easygoing warmth. Vocals sit natural and present, dynamics push gently, and the modestly sized image favors mellow jazz, folk and older pressings on relaxed systems. For plus-compatible bodies the correct replacement stylus is the G1+/S, while original non-plus G bodies may not physically accept current inserts.
