Grado DJ200
The Grado DJ200 uses a moving iron generator, and its 5 mV output feeds any standard MM phono input without extra gain. Its conical stylus tracks across a wide range from 2 to 5 grams, with 2.5 grams given as the nominal setting. The replaceable DJ200i stylus assembly keeps the cartridge serviceable through heavy use.

The Grado DJ200 leans into lively dynamics and a naturally rounded midrange, so vocals sound relaxed rather than clinical. Sphere-tip tracing keeps busy grooves smooth and non-fatiguing, while the copper cantilever adds body to bass without turning thick. DJ setups and pop or rock listening where drive and ease matter more than forensic detail suit it well. There is no magnetic shielding, so powerful direct-drive motors deserve some distance.
