Dual DMS 210

The Dual DMS 210 is an entry level moving magnet pickup built around a conical stylus profile. Its replaceable stylus carries the designation DN 211, so refreshing the tip costs far less than a new cartridge. An output of 3 mV suits any standard MM phono input without extra gain. Rated tracking force runs from 2.0 to 3.0 g with 2.5 g nominal, and Phono Culture lists 3 compatible replacement styli.

Additional Info

The Dual DMS 210 leans toward a soft, non-fatiguing presentation rather than forensic detail. Vocals come through naturally warm, bass keeps modest weight without digging deep, and the spherical tip stays calm on well-worn or budget pressings. As a relaxed all-rounder it suits casual listening on modest systems. The stylus is replaceable, and the DN 212 with a 65 µm tip historically covered 78 rpm duty.
